After a hectic few months of getting on the property ladder and moving into a new home, things have calmed down and I feel like I'm starting to get on top of things, including getting back to my photography.

To me the photo above, taken days after moving in, reflects this. One morning while eating my breakfast, I couldn't help but enjoy the morning sunlight spilling into our dining area. It was a quiet little moment, somewhat relaxing and satisfying after the whole process of buying a house.

As it's been a while since my last blog post I thought I would put together a little update of recent photo-related activity. Here's a bit of what I've been up to...

It was my family's annual trip to the Lakes at the end of November. This time I remembered my tripod!
