'Amazing Graces' at the Pier Head / by Andrew Wilson

Last night (24th May 2015) I went to the 'Amazing Graces' light display at the Pier Head. The show was a part of celebrations for the 175th anniversary of the first transatlantic sail from Liverpool. A light display, curated and produced by The Colour Project with Liverpool City Council, was projected on to the Three Graces buildings followed by fireworks on the River Mersey.

When I arrived I realised I was unlikely to get a great vantage point so I decided to include people in the photos observing the show. Shooting with my brand-spanking new tripod I shot longer exposures which caught some interesting movement.
